Sugarbaby or Financial Domination?

I was asked a really good question today by D.  What’s the difference between a Sugarbaby and Financial Domination?  Well there are distinct differences but sometimes people blur those lines.

The true definition of a Sugarbaby is someone who is ‘kept’ by a male with a lot of  money who doesn’t want the hassle of a relationship.  It’s a no-strings deal.  (Remember I’m speaking in generalities here, there ARE Sugarbaby males too.)  It means that you as a Sugarbaby are available as both arm candy and as a sex partner whenever the Sugardaddy needs you.  You are at his beck-and-call so to speak and it usually gives the Sugardaddy exclusivity.  Obviously every arrangement is different but that’s generally what goes on.

However, in a financially dominated relationship, you’re no longer referred to as a Sugarbaby for the reasons above.  Financial dommes very rarely, if ever, have sex with their money slaves and that is the main point behind the whole relationship.  Having sex with the slave evens the playing field so it’s rarely done.  The submissive male in this situation who is showering gifts and money on his goddess is doing so from the point of humiliation.  He’s doing this and gets nothing in return except more humiliation.  The point is to have the dominant person seduce or demand the money with nothing in return for the sub.  Nor is the relationship exclusive.

It’s also possible and has happened many times that the Sugarbaby/Sugardaddy relationship turns to financial domination if the Sugarbaby finds out her Sugardaddy is a submissive male.
