It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Pearl lost her fight with kidney disease today. I can only hope that the last three years I was blessed to have her in my life, and what turns out now to be the last three years of her life, that I was able to bring her as much joy and love that she brought to me. She went from a terrified stray who wouldn’t come out from behind my toilet and wouldn’t bark to a confident, happy, little girl who definitely got her voice back. I’ll miss her terribly.
Thank you to all of you who not only helped me when I needed it but who kept Pearl in your thoughts and prayers. I know that’s why I got to be with her for a few more weeks. Your generosity and love knows no end and I will be forever grateful to each of you.
